Detection principle:

ELISA: Use enzyme-labeled antibodies or antigens to produce chromogenic products through enzyme catalysis, and then quantitatively analyze target molecules by measuring the optical density of the chromogenic products.

CLIA: Directly detects the light produced by a chemiluminescent reaction, without the need for enzyme catalysis, and uses a chemiluminescent substrate.

Signal Detection:

ELISA: uses enzyme-labeled antibodies or antigens to produce chromogenic products through enzyme catalysis, usually using ultraviolet or visible light sources for detection.

CLIA: Directly detects the light produced by a chemiluminescent reaction, without the need for enzyme catalysis, and uses a chemiluminescent substrate.

application:

ELISA: widely used in clinical diagnosis, biological research, drug development and other fields.

CLIA: Suitable for trace analysis, especially for the detection of low-concentration pathogens or biomarkers in clinical diagnostics.
